Background
A French telecom engineer Yannick Bollati began his career with IBM as an information systems and networks specialist for stock markets and trading desks. On multiple occasions, he spent time in IBM laboratories in the United States. In 1995 he became the manager of a team of consultants in London working on multiple projects in ten European countries, and established one of the first internal collaborative information sharing platforms for all of his teams.
In 1998, he joined Capco, a young start-up company offering consulting services for banks that grew from 10 to 800 people in the span of 18 months, with offices on three continents. Yannick was one of the Partners who led this growth. He recruited new teams, developed consulting services in the field of risk management, managed major transformation plans for banks and financial institutions, and managed several off-shore development teams in India, all in a very dynamic, multicultural international environment.
From 2004 to 2007, Yannick was the Managing Director of SF-Investments, a Belgian venture capital firm that invests in young technology companies. He was appointed CEO of a Web 2.0 Internet/Media company in which SF-Investments held a stake, and served in this position for two years.
